Ergonomics is about being adaptable, and many of us have had to adapt to a new routine as we work from home these days. While it is tempting to work from your cozy couch or bed (I know I am guilty of this from time to time), it is not good for your health and can pose some serious long term problems.
This virtual experience includes a brief interview, assessment of your current workstation set up, and identifying creative solutions to promote better ergonomics while working from home. A follow up phone call is included to check that your set up is working out, and to make any adjustments as needed. A written summary is provided including suggestions and modifications that were implemented in your home. Handouts are provided including tips for stretch breaks and guidelines to consider.

A fun and educational team-building activity that is crafted to create a work environment with ergonomic awareness, both individually and as a team. This includes an hour long interactive presentation to educate the team on the concept of healthy ergonomics, build body awareness, identifying common risk factors, and learning the skills on how to implement healthier practices. Following the presentation is a 15 minute personal workstation assessment at each employees desk. This assessment includes a brief observation of ones work set up and workflow, modifications to achieve ideal ergonomic positioning, and suggestions on how to avoid risk factors that they may be predisposed to. Handouts are also included since we can all use a friendly reminder. Our goal is to make sure you have the tools for longterm success.
