Ergonomics is about being adaptable, and many of us have had to adapt to a new routine as we work from home these days. While it is tempting to work from your cozy couch or bed (I know I am guilty of this from time to time), it is not good for your health and can pose some serious long term problems.
This virtual experience includes a brief interview, assessment of your current workstation set up, and identifying creative solutions to promote better ergonomics while working from home.

This includes an hour long interactive presentation to educate the team on the concept of healthy ergonomics, build body awareness, identifying common risk factors, and learning the skills on how to implement healthier practices. We are all unique, especially when it comes to our work: the job role, daily tasks, and how we get it all done. I offer a personalized workstation assessment including observation of office set up and workflow, followed by workspace rearrangement and modification suggestions to ensure your set up promotes successful ergonomics throughout the workday. Individual coaching on proper ergo positioning tailored to your specific needs, and education on stretches to prevent/relieve tension and pain due to bad posture. A written report will be provided summarizing your ergonomic assessment suggestions with handouts on stretches and positioning techniques. A follow up visit is included to ensure that everything is working out for you.
